Barry R. Franzen
Dr. Franzen received his DDS degree from the Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1985 and then went on to receive his prosthodontic training at the University of Missouri and Truman Medical Center. Dr. Franzen has focused on esthetic replacement of teeth and implant dentistry. Since completing his specialty, he has maintained his private practice with an emphasis on implant rehabilitations.
The implant revolution began while Dr. Franzen was still in dental school, and he has continued to follow it closely. For the past 25 years, he has lectured extensively on implant dentistry throughout the United States and Europe. He remains a valuable resource for dentists and prosthodontists in the implant community.
Dr. Franzen was recognized by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) at their winter meeting in New York at NYU. After satisfactorily completing the requirements for Fellowship, he is now a Fellow Member of the ICOI. Dr. Franzen has been chosen by his peers as one of Milwaukee Magazine's Top Dentists in 2003, 2009, 2016, 2019, 2021, and 2024. Additionally, he has been recognized in both America's Top Dentists and Milwaukee's Lifestyle Magazine.
Dr. Franzen and his wife, Raquel, have been married since 1982 and have three children. They are blessed with five grandchildren. When Dr. Franzen is not studying dentistry, helping his patients achieve their dream smiles, or lecturing on dental implants, he is busy enjoying farming for wildlife, hunting, and fishing.
